Why would a Soul need to come into this present lifetime with the Sun in ARIES?

From an evolutionary perspective, where might that Soul have come from that would mean it needs to incorporate more of the qualities of Aries to help meet and challenge the current requirements of growth for THIS lifetime?

So… what are the qualities of Aries?
Well, it’s the first sign of the zodiac, so the energy is raw; it’s emerging and new; it’s full of explosiveness, action and enthusiasm for life. Just think of being confronted by a bear in the wilds of North America… or a striking cobra in Africa. What would exposure to these circumstances bring out in us – surely, a raw, angry instinct to survive? (to say NOTHING of the adrenalin rush!) The courage… to be found in that moment of absolute desire to survive….that moment of strike-or-be-struck….captures the raw, primal energy of Aries.

Aries, the Ram comes fuelled with vitality, an instinct for survival, aggression, intensity, honesty, independence and no desire for external authority.

From an evolutionary standpoint, Aries is about gaining courage from willfully facing situations where he feels scared. He needs to consciously face situations that force his ability to cope with anything that presents, even though he IS scared as he faces them.

The challenge for Aries is to SEE a challenge or crises; feel the fear of it; then choose to confront it anyway with clear and decisive action. Through THIS process, courage is learned and gained.

Aries Sun is fed solar vitality through feats of seeing the fear, facing the fear and gaining in courage every time.
